Fast Fill Systems is one of the top developers of fluid-transfer systems for mining equipement. As an intern at this small company, I was given many opportunities to gain experience in several stages of the product development process. Among my responsibilities held and experience gained were:

The design of several new products - everything from developing engineering models, creating solid models, protoyping, testing, tolerance analysis, generating engineering drawings, to design for manufacture.

The creation of SolidWorks document templates - for drawings and part files as well as for build sheets and other engineering documents.

The development of several SolidWorks Macros - a spring and o-ring generator, automatic insertion of our custom BOM, a thread creator, and more.

The development of a receiving book, the instructions for checking all incoming parts before inventoried.

CFD analysis using SolidWorks Flow Simulation.
